In 1968 in Cambridge, England, a group of talented young technology graduates established a high technology R&D and prototyping business. Cambridge Audio was born with the iconic P40 amplifier. Over the coming years, Cambridge Audio was first to market with a number of ground-breaking products such as the CD1 CD Player, the original Dacmagic and the beautiful Azur range of components. With a host of proprietary technologies, the design team at Cambridge Audio’s London facility have engineered some of the world’s finest hi-fi products.
